HeyCosmo updates since DEMOFall 08

It has truly been a busy and exciting couple weeks since HeyCosmo's Concierge launch in San Diego's DEMOFall 08. The media has taken a keen interest in HeyCosmo Concierge and Blaster, which has led to more articles written in the electronic and printed press.

On Monday, September 15, 2008, the San Jose Mercury News, a top tech reporting newspaper, included HeyCosmo with 4 other "Companies' Bright Ideas" out of the 72 that presented at DEMOFall 08. The feature article appeared on the front of the Tech section of the newspaper. Tech reporter, Troy Wolverton, identified our application as, "HeyCosmo is a robo-calling idea I like."

On September 16th (2008) the Newsletter Archive identified HeyCosmo as being the "Top 5 DEMOfall 08 Videos this week." I'm not sure what this means in the long run, other than our Team Members kicked butt with a great presentation of a great product.

Also on September 16th (2008), Yianni Garcia, the Social Media Guy, gave a very honest review of HeyCosmo in his article, NextWeb NYC - Web 2.0 Meetup, referring to the event held in New York City this past week. Yianni writes, "HeyCosmo has a long road ahead. Their first obstacle towards mass adoption will be to overcome most people's hatred of robo-call technology." He is correct in this aspect and it is an area HeyCosmo is actively working to bridge. Our representatives at the event, including James Im, our CEO, dropped some hints about more applications coming from HeyCosmo in the very near future, but I will write about those at a more appropriate time. Thank you Yianni for a great article!

And finally, The Lending Club, wrote an interesting article that suggests an interesting application for HeyCosmo. The article, 5 Low-Cost Businesses You Can Start From Your Dorm Room, suggests HeyCosmo as a tool to be used in a Babysitting Empire business that anyone can start and manage from their dorm room.

I appreciate any comments you may have.

Mike
