Yesterday's HeyCosmo app on Facebook issue

Yesterday I received an email from one of our Facebook app users who experienced a curious event when using our Prankster app. When attempting to bring up the app after he logged in he got an error message that said that, "There are still a few kinks Facebook and the makers of HeyCosmo(sm) Prankster are trying to iron out." He then checked the other apps (Blaster and TelEmoticon) and found a similar message.


Of course, I immediately contacted the HeyCosmo team in regards to this issue and found that curiously it wasn't an issue across the board—actually, it wasn't really an issue, though one team member found it on one of the three applications (Prankster, Blaster, and TelEmoticon) but not the others, and then quickly reported that the issue cleared up in a couple minutes. I also confirmed this by my observations and the user's follow-up.

What we believe happened is that this coincides with Facebook's new site re-vamp. If you experience similar problems try the app again in a few minutes or hours—I don't think this will take a few days as the error states (Facebook generated error message). I heard that Facebook will be making continued changes and updates for another week or so.
